Baby check-up
I had a follow up OB appointment yesterday. I'm one pound over my recommended pound per week rigmarole, oh well, blame it on my morning indulgence of Starbucks Fourbucks.
Anyway, Little Wiggly was still showing signs of arrhythmia, so I'm going to be scheduled for a fetal echo. Hopefully that will give us an insight into what is going on. The doc didn't seem too concerned and said that this happens all the time and the babies are born OK. I guess the fact that she didn't send me to do it right away should be an indication of her non-worriedness. It still freaks me out though...

I totally understand the benefits, but sometimes I wonder if it's a good thing we have all these tests and screenings at our disposal — so much more for us to freak out about.
I am sorry you're having to worry but I think you're right — if doc's not rushing you, I'm sure it's just good old CYA medicine!
E - Thank you, yes, I'm definitely thinking it's a case of CYA. They didn't give me an appointment until Tuesday, so there doesn't seem to be a rush to get me seen.
Fingers crossed that everything is ok!
Oh and Fourbucks is priceless, I am so happy we moved to Dunkin Donuts land where they have equally yummy coffee drinks for half the cost. Twobucks!
